 Heron Tower, London

The SNF Maxi has been developed to extend the catching width of the standard fan, and to increase the level of containment.
This offers particular benefits where the tables or soffit formwork cantilever beyond the building line.
The turned-up section of the SNF Maxi also serves to increase the level of containment on the protected slab, particularly of the lighter objects that may fall into the net.
Main Contractor’s Skanska, required an additional level of containment on Heron Tower, the Safety Net Fan Maxi was selected as the fall protection system to be used on the project.

Designed by Jean Nouvel, One New Change is a prestigious, high profile mixed-use building in the City of London.
Located alongside St Paul’s Cathedral, the seven-storey building with approx. 20,000sqm of lower retail levels and 32,000sqm of office space above, will be one of the largest single openings of new retail space in Central London.
Main Contractor’s, Bovis Lend Lease selected a range of Combisafe equipment to be used at different stages of the build. The Combisafe Loading System, Safety Net Fans and Steel Mesh Barriers were used to protect the workforce and pedestrians during the construction process.

The Arts Tower was designed from a competition in 1959, occupied in 1965, and held it’s official opening ceremony in June 1966 presided over by the Queen Mother.
|
|
Originally built to accommodate 160 staff and 1000 students, the building has recently been host to far more.
The University of Sheffield´s landmark Grade II* listed building has embarked on a refurbishment programme to extend its life by an additional 30 yrs.
BAM Construction UK, required an advanced guardrail system for the project, and PREGUARD® was selected to be used. The system enabled scaffolders to install edge protection on the lift prior to work on the next level.
