Göransson Arena | Sandviken, Sweden
A big indoor arena, Göransson Arena, is currently being built on
Jernvallen in Sandviken, Sweden. The arena, which is scheduled to
be completed in May 2009, will give many people the opportunity to
participate in leisure activities and be involved in sports on a
more extensive basis.

The arena will also be used by elite sport associations and for
cultural purposes such as concerts, art exhibitions, trade fairs
and conferences. There will be alternative floor surfaces provided,
allowing for different activities during different times of the
year.
With a total area of 12 940m², the arena will have capacity for 4
ice hockey rinks, 4010 spectator seats, 8 changing rooms, a
restaurant and 14 conference rooms of various sizes.

Once the arena is up and running it will be operated by
Jernvallen Drift AB, a unit in the City of Sandviken responsible
for managing, running and developing sport and recreational
activities in the community.
Combisafe worked with the clients at an early stage in the
construction process, and a safe and cost-effective system was
designed and used on the site. With the help of dwg-plans,
Combisafe was able provide the best solution for all stages during
the building process.
