Combisafe, a Honeywell company and a leading provider of temporary collective protection, will showcase its latest range of innovative solutions at Nordbygg (Stockholm, 5th-8th April 2016). Visitors to stand B10:19 will be able to learn how Combisafe’s solutions can help safety managers ensure protection and enhance the safety of construction workers in an increasingly regulated market.
“Since 1 January 2015, regulators in Sweden have been given new powers to issue on the spot fines to companies that do not comply with health and safety legislation,” said Mats Bergvall, general manager for Combisafe’s Nordic region. “The Combisafe brand is very strong in the Nordic region and is recognised as the market leader. This, and the fact that our protection solutions meet European standards, means that we are seeing an increasing demand for our products.”
Two of the main product innovations showcased at the exhibition will be the integrated COMBISAFE Loading System MkII and the SkyReach Anchor – a versatile, overhead fall protection system that safeguards construction workers against falls from height. When used with the SkyReach Anchor, the Loading System MkII enables workers to safely load or unload flatbed trailers and raised decks in yards or on work-sites.
Another highlight will be the lightweight Steel Mesh Barrier Mark III. The 2.6m barrier system, which weighs 15.7kg, is fully compliant with temporary edge protection standard EN13374, classes A, B and C. As such, it meets a growing demand in the market for a lightweight, versatile system that is easy and safe to transport or position in and around construction sites.
Visitors to the stand will also be able to learn about the Counterweight System, which provides freestanding, ergonomic and secure temporary edge protection for flat roof applications. Not only is the system quick and easy to install but, importantly, it meets the specifications of EN13374.
Another popular product for the Nordic market is be the UBIX Roofing System, which provides versatile, temporary weather protection. The modular system can be erected quickly, safely and ergonomically and is suitable for any project. The system can be supported on any type of scaffold and offers enhanced on-site flexibility. A small roofing system will be assembled above the stand to demonstrate the product.
In addition to the extensive range of innovative Combisafe products, visitors to the stand can also learn about Honeywell’s latest developments in personal fall protection. A representative from Honeywell Safety Products Fall Protection Division will be on the stand throughout the show to field any questions and to highlight Honeywell’s ‘connected vision’ for safety.
