UBIX Temporary Roof System is key to auto plant supply chain
The fast application of the efficient, robust and cost effective UBIX® Temporary Roof System from COMBISAFE has created additional loading and storage facilities at a car plant in Wales. Not only has the UBIX roof ensured productivity remains on track, it has also safely protected valuable electronic parts.
Owned by Japanese car manufacturing giant Toyota, the JTEKT plant in Neath produces power steering and axle components for the automotive industry. With the plant expanding to include the assembly and distribution of electrical components as well as mechanical parts, it was vital for the facility to have additional storage areas and unloading bays to protect parts from the elements.
Designed with safety as the top priority, the UBIX Temporary Roof System proved ideal and was used to create two semi-permanent structures at the plant for the same cost as the existing loading bay.
